Okanogan County WA – On the evening of June 17, 2015, 48-year-old Richard Alan Finegold of Stanwood WA made a pathetic, yet well set-up 911 call to the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office. He claimed that he had discovered there were “squatters” at a property he owns, located at 36 E. Sourdough Road in Tonasket, WA. Dispatch sent the complaint out as a “Burglary.”

Okanogan County, Washington – On June 19, 2015, Okanogan Sheriff Frank Rogers held a press conference to announce he had detained “squatters” who, after being confronted by the owner of a property in Tonasket, Washington, had intentionally run over a woman twice. That tale went viral in the drive-by media incriminating James and Angela Faire as a public relations exercise; in Okanogan, all over Washington, in newspapers and TV, and nationally via the Southern Poverty Law Center (Marxist-Leninist).

Okanogan County, WA – Facts are pesky little things – especially when they go against what a prosecutor would like to maintain as the truth when seeking a conviction. Some, like Okanogan County’s elected prosecutor, Karl Sloan, discard readily available facts – like those the US~Observer provided his office – for more prosecution-friendly investigative speculation and distortion – with which he was provided by his brother, Kreg Sloan, chief case Detective for the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Department. As of October 6, 2015, Sloan and Sloan, together, have knowingly and intentionally kept a factually innocent James Faire locked in the Okanogan County Jail for nearly four long months. Sloan and Sloan have more than turned a blind-eye to the absolute proof that Faire and Angela Nobilis are completely innocent of the criminal charges filed against them on June 19, 2015. Moreover, each has overtly skirted the law as it affects their duties.

When an falsely accused man sits in jail, as does James Faire in Okanogan County, there is very little for him to do. The jail library has little to offer a man accustomed to study. There is nothing for the hands of a man skilled in making and doing, restoring and repairing, to do.

Waking and sleeping, grooming and eating are regimented … a man’s choices become virtually nonexistent. And his social contacts … are restricted, monitored, his freedom to meet or call a friend … gone. He waits … he waits upon his friends outside …

We patriots are often found debating the finer points of Constitutional amendments and/or concepts embodied in Liberty.  One of the greatest of these—and one of those with some of the most widely used derivatives—is the idea that someone is innocent until proven guilty.  We understand this in an abstract sense.
